For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation<\/em> Romans 10:8-10<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n The acknowledgement and confession of the Lordship of Jesus Christ is the God-ordained medium to receive salvation. Certain evangelists and preachers believe that for a sinner to be saved, he must confess all his sins to God. No! That wouldn\u2019t work because it\u2019s not scriptural. You don\u2019t receive salvation by confessing your sins. The Bible doesn\u2019t say \u201cIf you confess or repent of your sins you will be saved\u201d;<\/em> instead it says \u201cIf thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus<\/u>, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead<\/u>, thou shalt be saved.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The moment a sinner declares the Lordship of Jesus over his life; all his sins are washed away. That\u2019s the beauty of what Christ did for us on the cross; all the sins we\u2019ve ever committed and will ever commit were nailed on the cross! That\u2019s why the Bible says, \u201cTo wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them\u2026\u201d<\/em> 2 Corinthians 5:19<\/a>.<\/p>\n God is not holding any sin against any sinner. That\u2019s why it\u2019s wrong to tell the sinner to confess his sins for God has no record of them. When a sinner tries to confess his sins to God, He doesn\u2019t see them because they were nailed to the cross; thus they cease to exist.<\/p>\n What the sinner needs is to confess with his mouth, not all his sins, but the Lord Jesus, and believe in his heart that God has raised Him from the dead, and he would be saved! That\u2019s what qualifies him to be recreated! Then alone can he ask for forgiveness and repent if he ever does something wrong.<\/p>\n Confession<\/strong><\/p>\n I believe in my heart, and confess with my mouth the Lordship of Jesus over my life.
