\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come <\/em>(John 16:13<\/a><\/strong>).<\/p>\n It\u2019s common to hear people say, \u201cThe voice of the people is the voice of God,\u201d or something like \u201cthe majority cannot be wrong.\u201d As nice as these statements sounds, they are lies from the pit of hell. They can neither be substantiated by the scriptures nor have any known connection with the body of revelation of the truth of God\u2019s Word.<\/p>\n Bible history records how the whole world was destroyed and only a family of eight\u2014Noah and his household was saved. The reason being that Noah lived a life that was in accordance to what God prescribed! So if it is true that the majority cannot be wrong, then, God wouldn\u2019t have destroyed everyone else (in Noah\u2019s day), saving only Noah and his immediate family.<\/p>\n Learn to follow the Holy Spirit and not the voice of \u2018the people.\u2019 Learn to discern the voice of Spirit apart from the voice of men. It matters what you hear and who you follow in life. God doesn\u2019t go by numbers, nor does He speak to favour the majority. He speaks in consonance with His written Word. The best thing you can do for yourself is to continually follow the Spirit of God in the direction He has given for your life.<\/p>\n No other personality in this life is worth following but the Holy Spirit. He\u2019s our greatest friend and teacher, the One who guides us into all realities and makes God\u2019s presence tangible to us.<\/p>\n Following the Holy Spirit means yielding yourself to Him through the Word of God. You cannot follow the Holy Spirit except you\u2019re yielded to God\u2019s Word and do what the Word says to do. This will reflect the beauty of God in you and help you live a more excellent life. You\u2019ll find yourself making the best decisions and the right choices always. You\u2019ll always do the right thing the first time, be at the right places at the right time, and live a life worthy of emulation.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t be a crowd follower; be a follower of God\u2019s Spirit. Be a Spirit-led man or woman.<\/p>\n Prayer<\/strong><\/p>\n Dear Father, I thank you for giving me the precious Holy Spirit to be my guide, teacher, counsellor and comforter. I yield my spirit to Him to be led, instructed and directed in all my dealings today. As I do this, my entire life is transformed from glory to glory in Jesus\u2019 mighty Name.
