\u201cIn all their affliction he was afflicted, and <\/em>the angel of his presence<\/u><\/em> saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old. But they rebelled, and vexed HIS HOLY SPIRIT…\u201d <\/em>(Isaiah 63: 9, 10<\/a>a). <\/strong><\/p>\n The Holy Spirit has a beautiful identity. He is called \u201cThe Angel of God\u2019s presence.\u201d He is the One Who brings us the presence of God and makes it real to us. Observe the opening scripture closely, and you\u2019d discover that \u201cHis Holy Spirit\u201d<\/em> mentioned in verse 10 is called in verse 9 \u201cThe Angel of His presence.\u201d<\/p>\n The word \u2018angel\u2019 <\/em>is translated from the word that also means \u2018messenger.\u2019 <\/em>Meaning that the Holy Spirit is the Messenger or the Conveyor of God\u2019s presence! He is the One Who carries the presence of God from place to place all over the world, and that presence is with you now. That\u2019s the reason you can know that Jesus is real; that\u2019s the reason you can believe in the Word of God.<\/p>\n When you pray, it\u2019s the Holy Spirit that makes God\u2019s presence real to your spirit, and then you seem to \u2018feel close\u2019 to a living God. He causes you to be spiritually overwhelmed by divine glory. God is omnipresent, meaning He\u2019s everywhere; but His manifested presence is not everywhere. The Holy Spirit is the One Who manifests God\u2019s presence. He brings to you an awareness of the power of God, and makes God\u2019s presence real to you in a way that stirs faith in your heart.<\/p>\n God\u2019s presence in the life of the believer is very important. David understood the importance of that presence in his life and cried out to God: \u201cDo not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me\u201d<\/em> (Psalm 51:11<\/a><\/strong> NKJV<\/strong>). <\/strong>This Scripture shows there\u2019s a connection between the presence of God and the Holy Spirit. However, no Christian need pray this prayer now, because the Holy Spirit has come to dwell in every believer FOREVER John 14:16<\/a>. Praise God!<\/p>\n Have an assurance of God\u2019s presence with you in everything you do, for in Him you live, and move, and have your being Acts 17: 28<\/a>a).<\/p>\n Confession<\/strong><\/p>\n Dear Father, I rejoice because I know I\u2019m never alone, and will never walk in darkness or in confusion for you\u2019re with me forever until the end of the age. Your Spirit lives in me and <\/em>brings me an awareness of your power, and makes your presence real to me in a way that stirs faith in my heart today.
