So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them<\/em> (Genesis 1:27<\/a>).<\/p>\n Amongst everything God created, you\u2019re the most beautiful, for you\u2019re the only one created in the image and likeness of God. God created you to look like Him and function like Him. You\u2019re His excellent handiwork; His perfectly crafted masterpiece! He created you for glory and for beauty. No wonder the Psalmist said \u201cI will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well<\/em>\u201d (Psalm 139:14<\/a>).<\/p>\n When you study the account of creation you\u2019ll notice that after God made everything from the first to the fifth day, He looked at what He had made and said, \u201cIt was good<\/em>\u201d (Genesis 1:4-25<\/a>).\u00a0 But on the sixth day, after He created man, the Bible says \u201cGod saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good<\/u>\u2026<\/strong><\/em> (Genesis 1:31<\/a>).<\/p>\n Man was the crowning beauty of God\u2019s creation\u2014the consummation of His work, and the cream of His creation. You\u2019re the most beautiful thing that the world ever saw. You\u2019re the perfection and epitome of beauty! You\u2019re the reflection and manifestation of His glory. The Bible says you\u2019ve been called to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3<\/a>), and not for poverty, sickness, disease or infirmity. You\u2019re too beautiful to be sick. You\u2019re too beautiful for the down-life! Your life is for the glory of God, you were created for glory, and for beauty!<\/p>\n Prayer<\/strong><\/p>\n Blessed Lord and Father, I thank you for creating me in your image and in your likeness. Through your Word, I\u2019ve discovered that my life is for your glory; I\u2019m the crowing beauty of all your creations!
