For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him<\/em> 2 Corinthians 5:21<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n There is a difference between righteousness and right living. Right living is the product of righteousness. No man can live right until he\u2019s first of all righteous. God can only require a man to live right after that man has been made righteous. This is the reason God gave you righteousness as a gift. The Bible says they which receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness<\/u> shall reign as kings in life Romans 5:17<\/a> AMP).<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 When you received Christ into your heart, eternal life was imparted to your spirit and you became the righteousness of God. Righteousness was imparted to your human spirit at the new birth. That righteousness produces in you the ability to stand before God without a sense of guilt, inferiority or condemnation. It\u2019s the divine nature of God that produces in you the ability to do right.<\/span><\/p>\n God credited righteousness to you the day you made Jesus Lord of your life: He gave it to you freely as a gift. It\u2019s not something you worked for. The Bible says we\u2019ve been justified, that means declared righteous freely by His grace (<\/em>Romans 3:24<\/a>. The moment you were born again, you received God\u2019s own righteousness. Consequently, you became as righteous as God is righteous, since He gave you \u00a0His own righteousness.<\/span><\/p>\n Being conscious that you\u2019re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus gives you boldness and confidence to pray and expect an answer. It gives you mastery over the devil and his accusations. It makes you a champion in life! If you haven\u2019t made Jesus Lord of your life, it means you haven\u2019t received God\u2019s gift of righteousness. You can receive God\u2019s wonderful gift of righteousness right now, by asking Jesus to be Lord of your life. Eternal life will be imparted to your spirit, and you too will become the righteousness of God in Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n Confession<\/span><\/p>\n Dear Father, I thank you today, for giving me your righteousness as a gift, and inspiring in me the consciousness that I\u2019m as righteous as Jesus is righteous.
