“It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it” (Isaiah 55:11 TNLT).
When the Word of God is applied it prevails and produces result under every circumstance. Jesus said, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35). God is confident about the efficacy and immutability of His Word and He wants you to know it, so you can commit yourself to it.
This was what Abraham did; the Bible says he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief (Romans 4:20); he had absolute confidence in the Word of God. He believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness (Romans 4:3). This isn’t just referring to mental believing or assent. The Hebrew construction actually says “Abraham made an unqualified committal of himself to Jehovah.” That’s faith! He had absolute trust and confidence in the words God spoke to him.
This is what God expects of you today: to trust and believe that the Word works all the time, therefore you can stake your life on it. God’s Word is the infallible remedy to all of life’s challenges. God’s Word is trustworthy; it is designed to make you a champion in life when you believe it and act on it.
Therefore, no matter the challenges you might be facing “cheer up; the Word works”! All you need is to believe it and put it to work; apply it to your peculiar situation and you’ll surely have a testimony.
Confession
Thank you Father for your Spirit, who enlightens my heart and teaches me how to put the Word to work in my life; your Word is working and producing results in my life today. I’m confident to face life and win for I’ve made the unqualified committal to trust and live by your Word. Amen.
