God Has Made You Self-Sufficient And Independent

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8).

The Greek word translated “sufficiency” above is “auterkeia” from which we get the English word “autarchy” which means “An economic system of self sufficiency, where a country doesn’t need to import anything from anywhere!” It also means “Economic independence as a national policy.”

So, the idea the Word of God is communicating to us from our opening Scripture is that God has given us a life of “economic independence and self-sufficiency,” as well as the grace to live that life. That means you have the ability to live completely independent of the economy in the country where you live. Therefore it doesn’t matter that there be inflation; God has given you the ability to live beyond inflation and grow bigger than the economy. You have self-sustaining prosperity!

This is exactly the way God is—He doesn’t need help or supply from anywhere outside Himself, and He has given us the same kind of life. The truth is, as a child of God, it’s impossible for you to lack when you understand the truth I’m sharing with you today. You’ll never need to beg anyone for help or look for someone to sponsor your dreams when you live by the revelation that God has made you self-sufficient and independent. He has already deposited in you everything you’ll ever require to live a vibrant, healthy, successful, prosperous and victorious life.

No wonder the Bible says “And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always {and} under all circumstances {and} whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]” (2 Corinthians 9:8 AMP). God’s economic program is far removed from the economic programs and policies of the world! As long as you function by it, you’ll never require any aid or external support for He has made you self-sufficient and independent.

Confession

In the Name of the Lord Jesus, I declare that I’m self-sufficient and independent. I live my life by the principles of God’s Kingdom; therefore the economic situation in the country where I live has no impact on me. I have within me all that I require to live the super-abundant life in Christ! I am perfectly furnished with all I need for the good life, for all things are mine! Hallelujah.
