“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time…” (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
I’ve never met anyone that I didn’t like. I made up my mind long ago to love the way God loves. I love everybody because I see them with the eyes of the Father. That’s the right attitude for the true Christian, for everyone is truly beautiful, and loveable; we’re all worth the blood of God’s own Son.
What could God have seen in sinners who didn’t even want Him, that would make Him offer the ultimate sacrifice—the death of His Son, in order to save them? This lets us know that God loves everybody, irrespective of who they are and what they’ve done. In His eyes, everyone is beautiful, lovable and valuable.
There’s a beauty in others that God expects you to see irrespective of what you see and how you may feel about them. Even when they act and do things in ways you don’t like; you’re required to love them nonetheless.
Train yourself to relate with everyone around you in this manner. There shouldn’t be anything that someone could do to make you want to hurt or hate them. Respond to people with the love of God. Let God’s love burn in you, such that you’ll always see the good in others. Let there be absolutely nobody that you can’t love, for everyone is loveable.
Prayer
Dear Father, just as you’ve loved me, I’ve made up my mind to love everyone I meet and show them the compassion of Christ. Thank you for filling my heart with your love such that I’m able to see the beauty and true value of others, in Jesus’ Name.
