Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.(1Peter2:24)
Faith is built on fact, not theory. A fact is a conclusion deduced from evidence. (My definition of a theory is a supposition established on ignorance of the subject under discussion!) Faith is based on the facts of God’s Word, but theory about God’s Word is based on suppositions.
It is a Bible fact that by Jesus’ stripes, we were healed (1 Peter 2:24). It is a Bible fact that surely He has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains (Is. 53:4). It is a Bible fact that Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses (Matt. 8:17).
These are Bible facts, not theories.
Start believing these facts – even while you still have the symptoms. Although your body may be telling you that you are not healed, continue to believe the facts of God’s Word. I know it works. It has worked for me.
Confession I believe the facts of God’s Word. I believe that by Jesus’ stripes, I am healed. I am not going to be healed, because I am healed now.
