In this topic, you will be reading about the laws of success which I have found in the Word of God. We have tried all of them in our lives and still living by it. God said in Malachi 3:10:” Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” Start working according to the Word of God and you shall reap even more!
The Laws of Success
Let us read some biblical scriptures which are the foundation of this teaching. Remember what Jesus said in John 17:17:” Thy Word is truth.” In the next scriptures, every time you come across the word “truth”, replace it by “the Word of God” to understand the scriptures better. 3 John 2-4:” Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when the bretheren came and testified of the truth (the Word of God) that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth (The Word of God). I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth (the Word of God).”
John wrote this when he was old and had been living the Christian life for a long time since he was young, so he was old, wise, and strong in the Lord. He said:” Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” Every person is a spirit with a soul (mind, will, and emotions) living in a body. Therefore, there is a spiritual success, an intellectual success, and a physical success.
To be spiritually successful, you need to be born again. When you accept Jesus as a savior andLord over your life, your spirit gets to be born again and you enter into a fellowship with God. This helps you receive from Him all the things He has promised to give you in His Word.
To be successful in your soul, you must rule over your mind, will, and emotions. You might have a lot of knowledge but your mind is not successful. Your mind is successful when you use your knowledge that is, when you judge your mind instead of your mind judging you. 2 Corinthians 10:5:” Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalth itself against the knowledge of God (the Word of God), and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” He who rules over his mind is in the position of the success of the mind. It is impossible for your mind to become perfect unless the Word of God is alive and at work in you.
You also need to rule over your will. Some people say:” Oh God! Break my will.” But God does not want to break your will so He can have control over it. He wants your complete will submitted to His so that you will be able tocooperate with him. God created man and gave him a strong will to choose his own destiny. You can choose hell or Jesus Christ and the Word of God. God said in Deuteronomy 30:19:” I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life that both thou and thy seed may live.” The choice is yours to be made.
When the soul of a man succeeds, his will and God’s will become one. How do you know the will of God? Read His Word. His Word and His will are one. It is impossible for someone living by the Word of God to say something other than His will. Your will is one with the Word of God and His will.
He, who controls his emotions to unite with the Word of God, will be emotionally successful. This does not mean that you do not show your emotions. Jesus fully controlled his emotions but he wept in front of the tomb of Lazarus. But his crying did not grieve him for he was still in the spirit and raised Lazarus from the dead. Jesus showed his emotions, but was not controlled by it.
Your level of health and temporal success will not be higher than the success of your soul. Even if you are born again and filled with the Holy Spirit, that does not guarantee the success of your soul. A poor and a sick woman prayed for the salvation of all the people in her city until they all accepted Jesus as Lord. She did not know what the Word of God said about health and success, but she knew what the Word said about salvation through Jesus and used this knowledge in her prayers and she was successful in this matter.
The world says that in financial success there is gold, silver, financial, political, and social power but money and power do not solve all problems. It is impossible to buy good health or prevent sickness in your body.
How does spiritual, mental and financial success be fruitful? It does through the Word of God. Hebrews 4:12:” For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” When you walk according to the Word of God, you will be successful and just. Do not be persuaded by any other than the spiritual success and do not forget the success of the mind. God wants us to be complete: spirit, soul and body, and to remain this way till the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1Thessalonians 5:23). When you walk in the light of the Word of God, you become successful in all aspects of your life.
The Spiritual and Financial Law
There are rules governing everything. There are the rules of the spiritual realm and the rules of the natural world. The rules of the natural world control our actions in it. We do not float, but walk on the earth. If there was no law of gravity here on earth, we would float. If you want to fly a plane, you use the law of lifting which thrives on the law of gravity. When you use the law of lifting to fly something, you need to know first the law of gravity to be able to do so. You cannot eliminate the law of gravity but you can crush it with a stronger one. These are the laws that govern the material world.
The spiritual realm and its laws are stronger than the material law and its laws. The spiritual realm generated the material laws. The world and the laws that govern it are born by faith – a spiritual force. Hebrews 11:3:” Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” If gravity was not a real force, the law of gravity would not work because the force of gravity makes the law of gravity work. Also, faith is a spiritual force. The power of faith operates the laws of the spiritual realm. When you use the power of faith, then the spiritual laws work according to God’s Word. The Word of God explains the spiritual laws.
Romans 8:2:” For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” There are two laws: the law of sin and death that started to work when Adam disobeyed God and the law of the Spirit of life that started to work in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This law crushes the law of sin and death and faith makes it work. Salvation is for everyone because the Bible says “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” But why are there people whodie and go to hell? Because they did not operate according to the law of salvation. This law works only for the people who use it. The laws of healing and success also work with the power of faith and they stop when the power of faith stops. There is the same power of faith, the same as Jesus and the same thief Satan trying to steal it from you. You have to act uponthese laws if you want a result.
The system of the world is the opposite of the system of God. God has a system that meets all your needs. The system of the world is unable to heal every sickness. There is no way for healing without the power of God, whether the power of God touches you and heals you instantly, orwhether you are healed by the power that God has put in the human body.
The system of God regarding money is easy: do not borrow from anyone but take from God. Borrowing is a problem that turns you into a slave to the world. Proverbs 22:7:” The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” When you borrow from someone, you must surrender to him and if this person is not godly then this becomes a spiritual problem.
Look at God, He gives you and does not lend you. You have to know how to operate in God’s system. When you study the Gospel and work in its way, and live by faith in all your life situations, then your situations change according to your faith in the Gospel. You study the Bible more, you learn more, you expand more, the devil fights you more, your victory is more, the glory of God increases, and you expand more! The Word of God is the key to the laws of the Spirit. The laws of the spirit govern the laws of nature. If you take these laws and operate accordingly by faith, you are able then to stop Satan because he only works in the natural world.
The real success is God’s ability to fulfill all human needs in all life situations. Money alone is not a complete success. You can have a lot of money but still be spiritually and mentally poor and unhealthy. Money is the weak power while prayer is the most powerful one. If you pray in the name of Jesus, God will intervene in your case. Only the power of God is sufficient for all human needs. God is more than enough for you.
Your faith equals the Word of God in you, so meditate on the Word of God to raise the level of it in your spirit to be able to act accordingly when facing your problems. You may not have the solution, God does, but sometimes you don’t hear what He is saying.
If you know how to use the power of God to get your healing and don’t always use this knowledge to help others but only for yourself, then you will not always get your healing. If your faith in healing is strong, then help others to heal. Share this faith with others! If you know how to use your faith to get money, help others with what you know.
Isaiah 1:19:” If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” Mark 11:24:” Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” When you work according to the Word of God, the desire of your heart will grow to match the desires of God. God is able to make every grace come in abundance to you (2 Corinthians 9:8). Don’t worry about yourself but act with the needs of others as if they were your own.
If you are a preacher or a businessman, this has no importance because God works in what is in your work to bless you or to give you a better one. There are no limits to God’s work in your life except the limits of your faith. If you don’t believe in the Word of God, it won’t work for you.
Make the needs of the body of Christ within your needs. If someone who needs clothes comes to you and you have nothing to give, then you need clothes for yourself and also to give to him. Jesus said in Matthew 6:31-32:” Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or wherewithal shall we be clothed? For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.” But He also said in Luke 6:38:” Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.”
When I understood this concept, I started to care for the needs of others before mine and I found out that my needs had been supplied in a supernatural way! I have nearly spent my whole adult life in debt, but after giving myself to God, I started declaring daily and every hour that “My God shall supply all my need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus “. My situation seemed hopeless back then but I kept declaring this for 11 months and after that all my debts were paid off.
A lot of times, it seems like money is only for the ungodly but that is not true. The Word of God says in Proverbs 13:22:” And the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.” There are rules for money and it works when we apply it. God taught Abraham some of the principles that the Jews use to this day. Jews do not believe in poverty because it does not exist in the Old Testament.
When you believe in God and care for the need of the body of Christ, you become a connection between God and others. All things that you have obtained from God are through Jesus. Did Jesus lose anything to give it to you? No, He still has it all. 1 John 4:17 says:” As he is, so are we in this world.” He did not say “so as Jesus was, we will be”, but instead he said “so as Jesus is, we are now.” In his position, at the right hand of God, he has enough to give for we are made partakers of Christ’s inheritance.
Similar to this connection we find it in the book of Revelation. God gave the revelation to Jesus who gave it to John through his angel. John gave it to the church to give it to the body of Christ who will give it to the world. That continuous flow, the flow of love, flow of power, flow of money, flow of food, flow of anything you need.
The principle that God uses to supply the needs of the body of Christ and through the body of Christ the world is in Ecclesiastes 11:1:” Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.” Many wait to be blessed first in order to give, as if you are saying to a fireplace: “Provide warmth for me and then I will place some wood inside.” You give and then it will be given to you. The importance is to give continuously so that your bread comes back to you on every wave! It is your responsibility to throw the bread into the water and it is God’s responsibility to return it to you. Do your responsibility and allow God to do His work. If you give more, you will receive more. God intended giving to work in this way so that He may pour out a blessing on you that there shall not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10).
Satan works the opposite of what God does. He uses hate, fear, and greed to stop your blessings. Proverbs 1:19 says:” Greed takes away the lives of its possessors.” Satan can show you how to obtain money but it is impossible for him to show you how to keep it. Selfishness is not able to keep what you build but it always destroys it.
If a man decides to leave his left arm with no use for a while thinking that after some years he will use it. What will happen to his arm? The ability of his arm to function will be gone. This same principle works with the person who keeps his money in the bank because he is afraid that he might not have enough. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 6:10:” For the love of money is the root of all evil.” There are millions of people who make this mistake and have nothing. God can do more with one dirham given by faith than kings can do with two mountains of gold. Jesus said in Mark 12:41:44:” That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: for all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.”
Remember; do not limit God by what you see and understand in your head. Even if the entire world is poor, God still has abundance and He is able to make it overflow on you. As Christ is, so are we in this world. Don’t be afraid to be a happy giver. Don’t skimp. Freely you have received, freely give.
Real success is the ability to receive blessings from God by faith. When your brother comes to you with a problem, share your faith with him in prayer. Get the devil out of his condition in the name of Jesus. Use the laws of the spirit of life in Jesus Christ. Use the blood of Jesus. Glory to God! It works!
Your Heavenly Account
Mathew 6:19-23:” Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: the light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!”
What you see with your eyes should align with the Word of God. You must accept it as the supreme authority. If the Word of God says you are healed, then you are healed despite what you are feeling in your body. If you believe and work accordingly then your covenant with God (His Word) becomes a full right and therefore your condition and your body will unite with the Word of God.
Jesus said:” Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal.”
Many think that we cannot possess these treasures unless we get to heaven, but this is not what He said. Jesus taught on how God can meet all your needs in the present time. Look at the end of Matthew 6:32-33:” For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
1Timothy 6:17-19:” Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; that they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”
Do not hold on to eternal life once you are in heaven. Hold on to it by faith while you are still here on earth and stay steadfast in the freedom that you are invited to. Psalm 23:5 says:” Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.” Our enemies are not in heaven, they are here on earth!
God said to me:” The problem is by making my children come to the table!” Paul said we must be generous in giving and distributing for we have everything we need available in our heavenly account! All the money and the gold…. Here on earth. When I give to others, I store up in my heavenly account and there is no power here on earth capable to stop me from taking it when I ask for it.
We must know how to put money in our heavenly account so that we can take it when we need it. If you know that you have money in your account, it is easy to believe in God that you have the money. It is not difficult to believe in God for the money is in your bank account. Don’t use your faith to write him a check. But it takes a lot of faith to take money when it is not in your account. This same principle works with your heavenly account.
