The Salvation of your Souls Series

If you have accepted Jesus and declared him Lord over your life, then you are now born of God. Your spirit is now born of God. What remains is the salvation of your soul which is your thoughts, feelings, and your will. Once you save the soul, it will become easier for you to control your body, your actions, your life and your circumstances… because from your spirit comes the power of God.

The purpose of God concerning your life in faith is not only to be able to change your world, your circumstances and to see Him move in every area of your life or finding Him helping you in your circumstances. There is a higher purpose and that is to become the person whom God has created, meaning in the image of God, showing His personality in you and through you.

1 Peter 1:3-9:”Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls”.

“Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls” “the salvation of your souls” because the highest degree of faith leads to the salvation of your soul (mind, feelings, and will) and that means a change in your personality. The words “the end of your faith” is the same as the word “perfect” mentioned in 1 Corinthians 13:10:” 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away” and that means a mature church. Here he is not talking about the salvation of the spirit when you believe in the Lord Jesus but rather the salvation here on earth when you reach the divine purpose and that is the salvation of your soul. In that way, the believer becomes humble controlling his tongue when in anger and longsuffering which will lead him to be capable of saving others.

The salvation of your soul (mind, feelings, and will) is a daily and a progressive process but that does not mean that there is no end to it. The word of God says “Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls” meaning that you will reach the salvation of your soul here on earth so that the Holy Spirit will entrust you for huge matters.

“Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time” this means the salvation of the body when Jesus returns and this salvation happens by faith.

To reach the product (maturity) and the end of your faith; this is the salvation of your soul (mind, feelings, and will) and the salvation of your soul is the perfecting (maturing) of the saints as it is written in Ephesians 4:12:” for the perfecting of the saints” which will produce a ministry in the right way.

1 Samuel 15:20-21:”20 And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the Lord, and have gone the way which the Lord sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.21 But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the Lord thy God in Gilgal”. God gave orders to Saul not to take anything from the Amalekites

in 1 Samuel 15:3:” now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass” but Saul did not obey the Lord and the people took oxen and sheep. Saul justified this act by saying that they took the oxen and the sheep to offer them as a sacrifice for God and this is the language of an arrogant believer who does what he wants and then justify it. If you are this type of a believer, you can still change and take off spiritually. This is what Samuel the prophet answered Saul saying in 1 Samuel 15:22:”22 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams”. The prophet is saying here that obeying the voice of the Lord is better than offering sacrifices and he continues on saying in 1 Samuel 15:23:” 23 for rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king”. So the conclusion is the following: when a person clings to his own opinion and disobeys the voice of the Lord it is the same as witchcraft and idolatry.

If the church has one teaching, then it will have one same reaction in facing circumstances as it is in Acts when the Jews commanded Peter and John not to teach in the name of Jesus again Acts 4:18:” 18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus”. So we then see them having one same reaction in Acts 4:24:” 24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is”. Not one of them for example thought of getting help from someone with authority to aid them, but the decision they all took together was to pray to God.

Ephesians 4:11-14:” 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive”. God gave these people to the church to ripen it first, then for the work of ministry and last to edify the body of Christ. The edification of the individuals leads to the edification of the body of Christ which is made up of these individuals so that everyone would come to the unity of faith. That means that everyone would have the same intellect here on earth. In verse 14, he said:” That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive” because in heaven there is no deception or false doctrine, therefore, the application of this verse in to be done while we are here on earth and not in heaven.

“Tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine” this means that the believer must not be like a feather or a paper in the wind where now you find it in a certain place and later on in another. This is what we call “the shaky believer” who responds to every doctrine without checking it. This term “tossed to and fro and carried with every wind” differs from the one in 2 Peter 1:21:” 21 for the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost”. Here the sail of a chariot driven by the wind is used to describe the term “moved”; because the Holy Spirit is always likened to the wind. That word means that a person walks along the lines of the sea; In other words, the Holy Spirit takes the believer from one place to another while working on convincing him gradually.

It is possible for example for Holy the Spirit to reveal to you saying: “You thank people too much because you feel unworthy and that what the person did to you is a debt that you have to pay.” You begin to live with the idea of interest; I will do this favor with so-and-so because he did such-and-such with me one day. You will find the Holy Spirit clarifying your personality to you. These things seem small, but they make you go down in your spiritual life. When the Holy Spirit reveals it to you and if you respond to him then you will find yourself being led by him.

Winning souls is of utmost importance, but first you must be built spiritually and you must mature through the knowledge of the Word before you serve, because the Holy Spirit wants to correct the thoughts and the scales of the believers so that they become spiritual men and that way he would be able to use them. If the personality of the believers is not corrected first, this will then delay them from ministering effectively.

Jesus, himself, began his ministry when he was thirty years old according to the law of Levi, so that he would have reached the highest level of maturity. Before starting his ministry, he would see people suffering, dying, and perishing, but he waited until he became mature and qualified for service, and even after he was anointed, he was not hasty. When His mother told Him in John 2:3:” they have no wine”, He replied by saying:” Woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine hour is not yet come” (John 2:4) because He was walking according to a strategy and a plan.

1 Peter 1:10-13:”10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ”.

Searching what, or what manner of time.” In the original language it says “they searched diligently” for when and whom and in whose era! And who will enjoy it! They did not only prophesy about the sufferings, but also about the glories in which we are now in (the second birth). That is why it is said in 2 Corinthians 3:1818 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord”. When you are born again, you become in glory and move to greater glory every day and the meaning that the prophets searched and searched and also the angels desired that, then the matter is huge and very necessary.

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be soberyour mind must be renewed and sober that is aware of the circumstances and events around you and aware of what is happening in the spiritual map in your life and in the world, and aware of everything and reach the stage of judging everything as the Word says: But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man” (1 Corinthians 2:15) and to hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. To be sure of what is going to happen at the coming of Jesus Christ.

There is an ideology that calls for the fusion of thought between sects, and it is in fact a criminalization for a person to adhere to his opinion and belief. There is a prevailing policy since 2001 where you find the media using several expressions such as “This is an extremist person; he should not adhere to his opinion.” The aim is to create a generation that believes that He has the right to have his personal opinion, but he does not have the right to adhere to it, even if someone adheres to his opinion, they consider him a criminal.

The rapture is secret, but the coming of the Lord will be public. People will see him and wail. Being confident in what will happen in the end times is very important, and if you don’t care about the end times now because you have a need to know on other topics, remember that among the basics of the doctrine in Hebrews chapter 6 is the judgment. Hebrews 6:1-2:”6 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment” so these things must be firmly established within you.

Ecclesiastes 7:8:”Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit”. There is always excitement when starting something new and then the excitement starts to decrease gradually. We see this in the lives of many believers, who got excited when they accepted Jesus as Lord and Master over their lives, then they began to get tired of it, and this is what Satan sowed in the lives of believers, which is impatience. These believers do not follow a clear biblical system in the spiritual life because they do not know how to remain excited in regard to the spiritual. They look outside the Word for things to motivate them. Also the person who is impatient is a proud one, as the bible describes him, because he has his own opinion and does not accept correction. He always likes to do what he sees right from his point of view and justifies it. So learn to be patient in order to see the end of things and let it be the goal you set your eyes on.

God’s concept for “pride” is not when a person talks a lot of himself. The Lord Jesus and the apostle Paul spoke repeatedly about themselves. Pride means when a person is impatient, does not submit to the Word of God and does not obey the Holy Spirit. You might see people who cannot listen to the sermon till the end or they cannot finish reading a whole book. They do not want to spend a lot of time in doing something though these same people have the patience for other matters. These people have the readiness to spend a long period of time on things that do not benefit them in anything. They also have a lot of questions but they do not want to learn.

What Saul did was that he gave from what others have and not from what he had. Although he had many livestock, he commanded the people to take from the Amalekites to offer sacrifices to the Lord, as he was used to command the people to offer to the Lord but he did not offer anything, unlike David. Saul did not obey the divine laws so this prevented him from passing on the kingdom to his descendants, although God tends to pass the kingdom on to his sons, because the king has all the files and secrets of the kingdom and therefore he can teach his son the law and thus he can be prepared for kingship after his father. 1 Samuel 15:26:”26 And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord hath rejected thee from being king over Israel”.

Although he offered sacrifices but God rejected him from being king over Israel, so you must know and do what God wants you to do, not what you want to do. Maybe you think that hearing the voice of the Lord is something complicated but this is due to your ignorance in the Word of God or being far from it. But once you know the ways of the Lord, you will adore it and adore the Word. You will also learn how to listen to His voice like the people who carried the ark of God in the wrong way. Do you remember this incident?

1 Chronicles 13:7-10:”And they carried the ark of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab: and Uzza and Ahio drave the cart. And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets. And when they came unto the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled.10 And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God”. The ark of God should have been carried on shoulders and when David learned about that he told the people that the problem was in carrying the ark in a cart instead of carrying it on shoulders. 1 Chronicles 15:12-13:”12 And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.13 For because ye did it not at the first, the Lord our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order”. This time the ark of God was brought up to the place that was prepared for it.

You must realize the end of things and have a clear picture of it. The goal of your faith is for your spirit to have the dominion over your body because you are a spiritual being. It is also necessary to know how to use your spirit, and how to pray and worship professionally and effectively. You do not need to prepare yourself for half an hour in order to pray effectively.

If we look at the Tabernacle in the Old Testament or the Temple, we will hear the sounds of animals being slaughtered, and of course these sounds are not suitable for worship. David grew up in that atmosphere, but he knew how to meditate on the beauty of this house.

David said in one if his Psalms: “to behold the beauty of the LORD and to enquire in his temple” (Psalm 27:4). By beauty, David did not mean to talk about the engineering design but he meant the beauty of the meaning of the colors used which he realized. This is the secret power of David. He knows how to follow God and how to worship him wholeheartedly and he taught this to his Son, Solomon.

The end of something is better than the beginning because a person sees things that are not seen now, such as becoming long-suffering and patient. In other words, to stand firmly on his ground while seeing what he is going through from the Word. As Peter the Apostle said in 1 Peter 1:13:” 13 wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober”. The problem is when the believer takes the Word of God lightly and does not appreciate it as if the Word only works in the spiritual matters and not the worldly ones. Peter talks about the impact of the word on accomplishing things on earth and the success of the Holy Spirit in correcting the believers’ personality because he wants to turn the believers unto men.

What motivates you to be patient in your spiritual life? Do not be a proud person. Let go of your own onions and your personal beliefs. Be patient because what will protect you in this life is purity, motives, patience and to value what the Lord has done for you.

John 4:10:”10 Jesus answered and said unto her, if thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water”. If the Samaritan woman knew and discovered the value of the one who said to her: “Give me a drink,” she would have asked him for living water instead of believing that she was the one who had something to give Him. This is a proof that obviously Jesus was not known that He was God. Humankind had to know Him spiritually in order to discover that He was God.

Your awareness of what Jesus did for you is what makes you move towards Him. Here, the Samaritan woman felt that she had everything but the Lord Jesus showed her that she is the one who needs. So also you, when you expose your life to the light, you will not be able to remain the same. If you are exposed to the biblical truth and you give it value, then your evaluation of things will become through this truth.

When you become aware of the work of the Holy Spirit and the value of the Word in your life, you will be ignited in an unusual way. Are you searching for stability? Did you get tired of going upward and then downward in your life? If this is the case, then the key is to value what God did for you. This is why the work of the Lord Jesus must be explained in details to believers and that the matter is not limited only to the physical death and the resurrection.

There is more than the physical death of Jesus. It is necessary to explain what happened to the Lord in these days, as he descended as one of the sinners into the pit, was dealt as a sinner and entered in a battle with Lucifer (Satan) and defeated him, and those in Abraham’s bosom were watching that and the door was opened for them after He defeated Satan.

That is why He says in Revelation 1:18:” 18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, amen; and have the keys of hell and of death”. We always hear about the physical death but it was never explained about the eternal and spiritual death that Jesus went through.

It is said in Isaiah 53:9:” and he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth”. The term “in his death” comes in the original Hebrew as “in his deaths” in the plural form because He died a physical, spiritual, and eternal death.

Matthew 10:40-42:”40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.41 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward”. If you come to realize that your dignity is His dignity and whosoever refuses what you say actually refuses Him, and then you will have nothing against anyone. You will realize that your dignity is well-preserved and what it seems that you have lost in the beginning; you actually did not lose it. Notice what he said:” he shall in no wise lose his reward”. This makes it clear that some things do not happen instantly but need patience and not pride, as we have explained before.

When you start something new, it is like a seed, you must water it day and night with spiritual seriousness without distraction in your thoughts such as feeling that you are being spiritually neglectful or that there is something wrong in your spiritual life. Do not worry about these things because the Holy Spirit is the one who is responsible for teaching you and helping you mature.

Whoever deals with a servant having confidence that his words are God’s words to him, he will receive a servant’s reward. Whoever deals with a righteous as a righteous, he will receive a righteous person’s reward. Whoever deals with these little ones meaning disciples (who are in discipleship and learning the ways of righteousness), he will receive a disciple’s reward just as it written in the previous scripture.

If you give the person what he needs, you will be rewarded depending on your point of view of this person. It all depends on your point of view of the person. And starting from here, your life will change when you discover what Jesus has done for you. You will be lit and you will help others also to be lit. You will not be afraid from the coming of the Lord but instead you will be ready where grace will be given upon His coming.

You must understand this because what you sow here on earth has a relationship and an impact on your sowing in the age to come. It is very sad to discover later on that you were sowing bad things in your life. This is the time for discipline and the solution is not about understanding sin and its impact. It is the time to understand the way that leads to a rightful life.

You will benefit from the biblical truth which you possess when you deal with it as the right standard. You will receive the reward of a prophet from the Lord, you will be treated as if you are a prophet, but if you do not appreciate what you read in a spiritual book or hear in a certain sermon, you will not receive what the Lord spoke of, and this explains the fear of the men of God to the Jews because they were aware that the prophet speaks the word of God to them.

There are many believers who do not allow the Word and the Holy Spirit to work in them, and this has led to delay God’s call on their lives. They move in their lives with their own principles, opinions, and personal ideas because they do not place biblical principles within them. The Bible talks about raising children and the need to remove disobedience from the heart of a child in the early stages of his life. Like any small plant treated like a tree. You can uproot it easily, unlike if you let it grow and grow, just as it is easy to remove disobedience from a child in the early stages of his life and vice versa. It will be difficult to change the nature of an elderly person, so you find him annoyed and reluctant to accept correction and he justifies that by saying that he can receive from the Lord Himself.

This is the method of someone who begins his call and cannot complete it, like Saul, whose call was to continue as king, but he did not complete it and the kingdom was taken away from him because not everyone who is called will complete it. As there are those who delay in completing it, and there are also those who do not complete it to the end because they do not live by the right biblical principles. In this case, the role of a teacher stands out. The one, who teaches, guides, completes, and help believers to mature i.e. the body of Christ which Satan tried throughout the ages to scatter it, justifying that by the fact that the body of Christ imposes restrictions on the person and that the same speech is repeated in every meeting. Unlike what the Word of God says in Hebrews 10:25:” 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching” which means not leaving your union.

1 Peter 1:14-17:”14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear”.

“Pass the time of your sojourning here in fear” it means walking in awe and in tremble. Some might get upset with this language in the New Testament but you must have a good look on your life here on earth. The rapture is not for everyone. Yes, it is a right for every person who is has been born again but this person must know how to walk in the Word and how to have a fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

Romans 5:1-9:”5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him”.

When the disciples asked Jesus in Acts 1:6:” Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?” He replied saying in Acts 1:7-8:”It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”. He did not say He did not want to restore again the kingdom of Israel but He told them it not for them to know the times or the seasons.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-9:”5 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ”.

Is Paul the apostle here contradicting the words of the Lord Jesus to his disciples?! Of course not! The disciples at the time of the Lord Jesus were not yet spiritually mature, but at the time of Paul the apostle, the believers were spiritually mature in a way that made them able to discern the times and the seasons. That is why the Apostle Paul said to them:” But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you”.

In this scripture, Paul the apostle switched the weapons. Instead of saying the shield of faith like in Ephesians 6:16:” 16 above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked” and the breastplate of righteousness like in Ephesians 6:14:” 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness” he said in Thessalonians “the breastplate of faith and love” and that is because faith works as a shield and as a breastplate.

God warns us of getting preoccupied with the worries of life and then that day would overtake us as a thief. Paul also used the same term “thief”, so live your life in awe and appreciate everything that you do till the day of the Lord comes. Purify your motives and keep in mind that you will be standing before the seat of Christ because on that day the works of each person will be revealed.

If you loved the Word of God with adoration, you will then be aware that is your right to be saved from the wrath to come. Unfortunately, there are those who do not know how to take this right because they have no one who taught them the importance of appreciating their lives and not underestimating what the Lord had done for them and therefore they will not be taken in the rapture. You will not be taken in the rapture against your will. It is like if you are the “object” in this matter. It will only happen due to your awareness and your hearing of the last trumpet. You are the one who chooses to respond to the sound of the trumpet and therefore you must give a consideration to everything you are doing here on earth.

The heaven was open on earth, so you have a heavenly inheritance which is untouchable. You can live heaven here on earth, and then the time will come where your bodies will be saved in the rapture so that you won’t go through the tribulation. We will be out of the earth during tribulation like an “Exit” sign which means to be saved or to get out. In the book of Revelation, there are future stuff but it also speaks about things that already happened in the past, happening in the present and will happen in the future. As the Word says in Revelation 1:19:” 19 write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter” He showed him things that were happening at that time and things that had not yet happened to John, but they had happened to us.

The church must be prepared and must understand the gift of God that has been given. The church must understand who Jesus is and how the humankind’s situation was in the past in order to appreciate what Jesus had done.

The entire human race was in the grip of Satan because it was man (Adam) who surrendered himself to him. Therefore, it is called the great treason due to the enormity of this mistake. God was explaining to Adam the tasks required of him, and he was aware of his role, and therefore he said to him:” I will make him a help meet for him”.

God started dealing with Adam as a responsible person and in that moment Satan used Adam and enslaved him and the entire human race because we were in Adam’s gut. The word says in Hebrews 7:9:” And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham”. This means that Abraham acted on behalf of Levi, because Levi was inside of him, and this confirms the possibility of a person representing a complete descendant. That is why Jesus acted on behalf of the entire human race. Just as Adam destroyed at the beginning the entire human race because he acted on behalf of it, so is Jesus who fixed what the first man Adam had destroyed. When Satan caught the entire human race, he gave them his nature and so the human descendants started to be born with a demonic nature as David said in Psalm 51:5:”Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me”.

The entire human race became doomed and submissive to Satan. For this reason, Jesus came to save what was doomed and to reclaim man but not to his first state, because every person who accepts Jesus as Lord and savior will be born of God and will take His nature. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:45:” 45 and so it is written, the first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit”.

The first man Adam did not possess the nature of God or His character “Zoe” which is called “eternal life” in the Bible. He possessed a neutral nature, neither demonic nor divine, but he was made to receive the nature of God and His life. It was a must for him to take this nature by choice, because God did not create man to put His life in him without man choosing that, and here Satan took advantage of the opportunity and planted his nature inside of man. And because sin is inherited, since Satan is an intrusive person, he introduced his nature into the human race and began to manifest himself in man and in his flesh. As for Jesus, he is a life-giving spirit, that is, a life-giver “Zoe. You were created on the image of the last Adam so you are the same; A life-giver to others.

When Peter acknowledged the divinity of Jesus in Matthew 16:16:” 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God’. Jesus told him that it was God who revealed that to him and that he did not know it by his natural mind Matthew 16:17:” 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven”.

But also remember that it is Peter whom Jesus rebuked when He was prophesying about His death and said to him in Matthew 16:23:” 23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men”. This means that the person can have right ideas and at the same time some wrong ideas. Therefore, be always submissive, flexible, and accepting correction in your life.

The person who thinks that he knows it all is the one who talks a lot showing what he has of knowledge, but the wise is the one who is stable and sober talking only in the right time. Therefore, from your words you can make a tree of life.

1 Corinthians 15:46-49:”46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly”.

“We shall also bear the image of the heavenly” in the original language it comes as the following “let us bear the image of the heavenly and walk in it”. If you know what Jesus did for you, then you will deal with Satan with authority. You will not need to sprinkle the blood on your life out of fear of a tax when you do some work to serve the Lord, for example: stealing your car / family disputes… You feel that Satan has a right over your life because you do not realize what Jesus did for you.

When you realize what Jesus did for you, you will not be able to stop worshipping. You will begin to see the biblical truth in a serious way; you will see it as spirit and life. You will experience it in your life, it will differ and you will become victorious. Satan always tries to convince believers that they are like the ordinary people, but when you understand who you are in Christ, you can give life, change the lives of others, and make disciples because you now know who you are in Christ.

Clothing is apparent to people. This means that if you walk in the spirit, then your spirit will be apparent through your reactions. You will find yourself walking in a divine way in any situation you face and in that case you will not wonder how to react correctly in the circumstances.

  • The image of a saved soul:

It is an unshakeable believer who does not make enemies because he in control of his feelings. He is spiritually stable and does not walk according to what he feels. He is not controlled by anything and he is not affected by the elements of this world because his soul has already dominated. Being born of God, your goal is the salvation of your soul and after it your body will be under your control. There are some believers who suffer from problems and pray a lot but do not get results. The reason for that is because their mind is not renewed regarding the problem they are facing. But when they know the biblical truth, their lives will be completely saved because self-correction leads to quick results.

Luke 7:36-50:” 36 and one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to meat.37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.41 there was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? 43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.44 and he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace”. Because the woman who was a sinner was aware of her miserable condition and her appreciation of Christ’s love, she believed in Him and therefore she loved more. While the Pharisee did not appreciate the Lord Jesus and therefore he loved less; so the more you discover and appreciate what Jesus did for you, the more you will love Him and your life will be ignited.

Being aware of His work in your life will have the effect of making you more motivated to save yourself and vice versa; So if you are sitting with a servant to help you spiritually, you can take from the anointing on his life because you know very well that he speaks to you the Words of God and you are in a state of appreciation of these words.

Acts 2:1-4:”2 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance”. In this scripture, being filled with the Holy Spirit refers to the dwelling of the Holy Spirit in you after being born again and receiving the nature of God (you are in Christ now). The dwelling happens once and it is followed by speaking in tongues. Acts 4:31:”31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness”.

“They were all filled with the Holy Ghost” in this scripture, it means being filled daily with the Holy Spirit and the increase of your awareness of the Holy Spirit and its manifestation in your life, which is the salvation of your soul, and that the Holy Spirit fills your spirit and invades every aspect of your life and gradually reveals himself through your body and your daily behavior. Being filled with the Holy Spirit frequently means the decreasing of your humanity because you are 100 % a spiritual being. As John the Baptist said in John 3:30:” 30 He must increase, but I must decrease”. If you understand this, then you will find yourself dealing with the situations of life in a supernatural way and seeing what is behind the events and situations. For example, if it appears that you have been wronged in a situation or that you have been exploited, you realize that you are not wronged and that it will not continue, but on the condition that you always walk in your spirit and this is your choice; Therefore, he says, the salvation of your souls, because you are responsible for the salvation of your soul (thought, feelings, and will).

If you are waiting for your body to shiver until you are sure that you are filled with the Holy Spirit, or you are waiting for the Holy Spirit to give you joy in order to ignite, this is not the way the Holy Spirit works because you are the one who ignites your soul and this happens in minutes. You can bring out your human spirit, that is, you behave and act according to it. You are not called to love and worship the Lord only, but to bring out the splendor that is in your spirit and make it prevail over situations, and this is what makes you know how to deal with others, whether they are believers or professional sinners.

The salvation of your soul is to make your spirit prevail over yourself (mind, feelings and will) and to increase your spirit in release and manifestation at the expense of humanity and the senses. Like Moses, when he found an Egyptian man beating a Hebrew man and so he killed him, but after the work of the Holy Spirit in his personality and leading a stiff-necked and rebellious people, he did not deal with them in the same violence with which he dealt with the Egyptian, because he learned how to deal with wisdom.

It is true that the motives of your heart are so important, but the goal is to let the splendor in you to be shown in the physical realm and not to miss because the divine thinking is to change into the same image.

Your spirit longs to be charged with the Word of God and speaking in tongues. Your soul needs to renew its thoughts with the thoughts of the Word so they would be compatible with your spirit. Also, your body needs crucifixion, and its complete salvation will be on the day of the Lord’s coming when we take the glorified bodies.

The Lord Jesus did not make an instant salvation for the body because if the body changes when you accept Jesus as Lord and savior over your life, then you will have no right to remain here on earth and that is because the dead do not live currently on earth. Remember the body Jesus took after His resurrection; He could not remain on earth for a long period of time. He would appear and then disappear. If we do not remain on earth, the Lord Jesus will not be preached to the rest of the world as the Word says in Romans 10:14:” 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?”

You are higher than all His creatures, and God does not give anything that is not good. You were born “First Class” 1 Peter 1:23:” 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever”. Jesus is the Word made flesh and you are born of it. Then He starts talking about the image of a person whose soul is saved in James 1:19:” let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath” and He also says in James 1:21:” receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls” it means accept the Word that was engrafted in your spirit when you became born of God.

The Word was placed in your spirit but your soul needs to accept it which will lead to its salvation as it is said in 1 Peter 1:9:” receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls”. The highest level of faith you can reach is the salvation of your soul because at the end the goal of walking in faith is the salvation of your spirit.

Hebrews 4:12:”12 for the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”. The Word helps you to discern your thoughts and when you understand that you will be slow to speak, swift to hear, and slow to anger. You will start to let the righteousness of God to show in your life because you are the maker of righteousness that means producing what is right.

James 1:20 (NIV):”20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires”. The word “produce” is used because walking according to your soul does not produce the righteousness of God. The person who gets angry does not produce righteousness meaning what is right. Therefore, man is the producer and maker of righteousness.

Get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. If you do not get rid of all of these in your life, then you will not see the Word working effectively in your life.

  • He who leans on his own mind is a person whose soul is not saved:

Proverbs 28:26 (KJV):”26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but who so walketh wisely, he shall be delivered”.

Proverbs 28:26 (AMPC):”26 He who leans on, trusts in, and is confident of his own mind and heart is a [self-confident] fool, but he who walks in skillful and godly Wisdom shall be delivered”. In the original translation, the word “stupid” is used and not the usages of the word “fool”. A stupid person is the one who depends on his humanity, on the reservoir which he possess from thoughts, experiences, science, the way he thinks, and his theories. He does depend on the godliness that was placed inside of him.

There are people who lean on their own mind, like Saul, when he leaned on his own mind and offered sacrifices to the Lord taken from the Amalekites, though Samuel strongly recommended him to kill everything related to the Amalekites and not to offer anything from it to the Lord. When Samuel knew about the sacrifices he said in 1 Samuel 15:23:” 23 for rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king”. But he who walks in skillful and godly wisdom shall be delivered. If you lean on personal experiences and your knowledge and when the person who is following up with you spiritually speaks to you, you interrupt him thinking that you know what he is going to say, then you need to be quiet and to listen more than you speak Psalm 119:98:” 98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me”. The Word of God makes you wiser than the ones who are older than you and it gives you the right thoughts. Let the Word of God dominates your way of thinking and your life.

You must understand the divine laws in order for the problems in your life to decrease until you reach a point where you are not confused by the problems anymore, but you pass through them with joy and peace and you become a believer who is spiritually stable. The unstable believer, when presented with ideas from Satan, gets confused, puzzled, and gives them a huge value because he thinks that these ideas are not supposed to be presented to him in the first place. He does not know that he must ignore these ideas, laugh at them, and not be moody. He should not believe that there is a certain thought that would make him fall into sin and thinking otherwise is that he linked this thought to a specific sin and then another thought comes to his mind telling him that not a week will pass by and he will fall again into the same sin.

You grew up in this world, so it is possible that the ideas of this world had been leaked into your mind, but the world is not the problem. Jesus prayed saying in John 17:15:” 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil” so the solution is not to get out of this world. The way to be kept from evil is in John 17:17:” 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” meaning to become dedicated, set apart, and sanctified in the Word of God secluding yourself from the principles of the world.

Proverbs 1:20-22:”20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: 21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, 22 How long, ye simple ones (fools), will ye love simplicity? And the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?”

In the original translation, “ye simple ones” is translated as “fools”. The fool is the person who hates knowledge and rejects it and this scripture is applied to him Proverbs 1:32:” 32 for the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them” The believer who now lives without knowledge and discipline, this lack of discipline will turn on him and will ruin his life.

A person is a spiritual being possesses a soul and dwells in a body, and in order for a person’s soul to be released, the soul (thought, feelings and will) must be saved. James 1:19-20-21:” 19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls”. The first thing is meekness and the submission to the Word of God. For example: if the person who follows up with you spiritually told you to pray for someone who has offended you and not to return the offense to him, then you must be humble and submit to his words and that, of course, after he proves his words to you from the Word of God.

He, who does not realize the meaning of prayer and does not have a reservoir of the Word, will depend on his own mind, humanity, experiences, and you will find him making many mistakes. And there are mistakes which its results are not seen at the same moment and this makes the person reassured because he now believes that he was able to live what the Word says by his own thoughts and methods. From here, he begins to minimize his dependence on the Word and starts to depend more on his humanity and personal experiences. By this, he takes his life to darkness and destruction and his decisions that he thought one day would lead him to success is the same that leads him to destruction and darkness.

Proverbs 15:14 (K J V):14 The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness”. Proverbs 15:14 (AMPC):”14 the mind of him who has understanding seeks knowledge and inquires after and craves it, but the mouth of the [self-confident] fool feeds on folly”.

You must be filled with the principles of the Word because it works on your mind by revealing and purifying your motives (the force that moves you to do something easily). For example: if you give to the needy easily, that is because of the principles of the Word that were planted in your heart. These principles also keep you from giving to those who are not worthy of giving. Your reliance on the principles of the Word purifies your motives and you find yourself doing the right things easily. You do a certain thing in a smooth and easy way because you have trained yourself and become accustomed to it. You may be restricted by lust, but the problem is not with your body, lust, fear, etc. it is with your inactivated spirit, your non-renewed mind, and your untamed soul.

Some may ask why God gave us the soul, which is the cause of all these problems! The answer is that the original image on which God created man was not in this way, but it was deformed after Satan dominated man. But he failed in doing that because now the new spirit can control the mind (Listen to the sermons called “Motives and Values”).

  • The problem of daydreaming:

If you find yourself daydreaming while studying the Word of God, then lift up your voice in prayer and do not ever say that you cannot study the Word because you daydream. You can direct your heart towards studying the Word and when you do that, you will be activating your spirit like the disciples did when they were banned from speaking and teaching in the name of Jesus Acts 4:18:”18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

Acts 4:24:”24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is”. You must lift up your voice and give your full attention when you pray and when you worship the Lord. Acts 4:31:” 31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness” so after praying, they spoke the Word of God with boldness.

Proverbs 17:24 (KJV):”24 Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth”.

Proverbs 17:24 (AMPC):”24 A man of understanding sets skillful and godly Wisdom before his face, but the eyes of a [self-confident] fool are on the ends of the earth”.

The person who has understanding is the one who sets wisdom before him and pour all his focus on it, but the fool (self-confident) is the one whose mind daydreams about thoughts and many other things.

Daydreaming is the result of your attraction and adherence to your personal opinion in your life in general, believing that if there is something wrong in your life, God will reveal it to you and you trust that because you feel joy and exultation during prayer and worship. Then you start to prove that from the Word of God by relying on specific scriptures and interpreting them incorrectly. For example: Psalm 51:12 says 12 restore to me the joy of your salvation” and the person interprets it by thinking that when God is upset with him, He will take the joy from him. This is a wrong thinking because the joy is fixed inside your human spirit. This joy is for every believer of the New Testament and God does not take it away from you. It is you who needs to be aware of this joy and to let it come out.

Daydreaming= being self-confident because you are not releasing your human spirit and you are not feeding it daily with the Word of God as you feed your body with food on daily basis.

  • The solution for daydreaming:

Ephesians 3:17:” 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts.”

To become aware of the Holy Spirit dwelling in you, to bring the reality of His dwelling within you to your mind, to remind yourself of Him, to raise your voice in prayer, and to fill your mind with the Word, so that you find yourself relying more on the Holy Spirit, and thus you become more focused because you have activated your human spirit.

Proverbs 27:21:”21 as the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise”. From this scripture, we can understand that the value of a person is connected to what he praises and is impressed by. Therefore, the value of a person is the one that weighs his life, and therefore your entire life is linked to your evaluation of things.

Example 1: sometimes the person puts the value of the family above the value of God to the extent that he might be ready to die if one member of his family dies and that is because he connects his life to family members instead of God.

Example 2: when the disciples were impressed by the buildings of the temple in Mark 13:1-2:” 13 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? There shall not be left one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down”. These buildings which impressed them not a stone will be left upon another because God had an eternal vision.

You must know that God judges with justice even among believers. He does not say to the one who is offended “Forgive your brother” and does not judge with justice between them. Like in the Book of Revelation 6:10:” 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?” God did not rebuke them when they said that to Him.

Also, the wrong idea that says that God does not judge between the believers generated bitterness within some believers and made them distance themselves from God, believing that He is an unjust God. God does not deal with sin unevenly.

Whoever you see blaspheming the name of Jesus today, the Holy Spirit deals with him from a higher perspective and he does not grind his teeth as you do, but rather looks at him with love. But this love has a double factor, like the intercessions of the Saints when they fell to the ground, they turned into judgment in Revelation 8:4-5:” And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thundering, and lightning, and an earthquake”.

When God asked Pharaoh to let His people out of Egypt, He wanted to bless the people of Egypt, but when Pharaoh hardened his heart and stood against God then His judgment occurred because there is the cup of the wrath of God. Noting that God is patient with the person to be saved, as He did with Saul of Tarsus, who changed and became Paul whom changed the lives of many.

If you enjoy the misfortune of a person who blasphemes the name of Christ, then this is a wrong view, and here you must set correct values and see that the value of this person is the value of Jesus, even if he mocks Him. Instead, pray for this person and he will either accept God one day or the wrath of God will fall upon him; Therefore, when you see the end of things, you will not be disturbed, and the divine values will control the way you think and live.

Ephesians 5:27:” 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish” God wants a church not having a spot or wrinkle like a person preparing a bride, you find him scrutinizing everything. Part of this is the salvation of the believers’ souls (thoughts, feelings, and will).

1 Corinthians 2:11-15:”11 for what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them ( the things of God), because they are spiritually discerned.15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man”. Your human spirit is the one who can know you; therefore, if you walk in the spirit and the Word, you will not be confused about anything, but you will know how to act in all your affairs. Whenever you pray in tongues, your spirit will bring this knowledge out on your mouth, and you will find that your mind begins to understand the cause of the problem. Proverbs 26:6 (KJV):”He that sendeth a message by the hand of a fool cutteth off the feet, and drinketh damage”.

Proverbs 26:6 (AMPC):” He who sends a message by the hand of a [a]fool cuts off the feet [of satisfactory delivery] and drinks the damage”. It means that the person who sends a message with a foolish person, instead of achieving success, he will achieve failure and he will cut off his legs from going to this place again or when the person sends another on his behalf, he will bring trouble to himself. In other translations it says that the person will be the one to blame because the foolish person will deliver the message in the wrong way.

Also, the Holy Spirit will not use a person whose soul is not saved and his mind is not renewed. There are many sinners who did not accept Jesus because they were preached in a wrong way. Now this should not stop you from testifying about what God has done in your life, but you need to pay attention and work on the salvation of your soul. You might be winning people for Christ but still feeling like you want to do something bigger, more widespread, and more effective. To achieve this, do not depend on human experiences and start renewing your mind with divine thoughts. If you are a person who analyzes and thinks a lot about too many things, when you renew your mind with the Word, your mind will change into your benefit. If the person has a renewed mind, then he will not bring trouble to the one who sent a message with him because he will know how to respond to others without being provoked due to being sober and wise and therefore the Holy Spirit trusts him.

Romans 12:1-2:”12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service (spiritual). And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove (taste) what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God”. If you do not understand or be aware of the love of God and be in touch with it, then you will not know how to present your body a living sacrifice. You may have realized a part or a dimension of the divine love like salvation, but you did not realize the love of the Father, which is clarified in realizing your inheritance in Christ and that God is on your side. He lifts you up and you are not just a feather in the wind.

“The renewing of your mind” in other translations it comes as the following: to replace motives, standards, and values with new motives, standards, and values from the Word. And when you put them into practice, you will find inner strength in them, and you will not need any additional strength. In your mind you have principles and values; therefore, he is the one that makes you giving a value to a certain thing and not to another. God has put values to many things but the Arabic language does not clarify it. For example, in Matthew 10:31:” 31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows”. In the Arabic language, they used the word” better than” instead of “more value”.

Renewing your mind does not mean to feel joy whenever you read or hear a certain scripture, but rather to start thinking in a way that is different than normal people and different than your old way of thinking. No matter how polite or educated you are, still the principles of this world might be leaked to you daily without feeling it or realizing it. This is why you find some believers reach the stage of gluttony in watching TV or binge-eating, or in a certain sin, without knowing the reason to that. The cure is to know that there is a reason that makes you think this way. It starts with sadness, grief, and then surrendering to sins which you have opened the door to them.

From here, we understand that the mind contains principles, motives, and values, and that the Word of God is the one that controls it. If the Word did not touch these matters in your life, this means that you are not reading it correctly. The Bible is a huge book and it speaks to all corners of life, so you need a leader who guides you about your need to study a particular subject at a particular time; therefore, you must accept having a leader no matter how mature you are spiritually.

Revelation 2:1-5:”2 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent”.

“And do the first works” the Holy Spirit wants you to go back into doing the first works which you did when you first accepted Jesus. He wants you to be excited and ignited all the time. If you think that studying the Word and praying is related only to the ones who are new in faith and that you have outgrown that, then you need to correct your way of thinking because the Word of God says to do the first works in order to go back to loving the Word and never stopping for the rest of your life.

Even the sermons that you once listened to, go ahead and listen to it again for Jesus said in Matthew 26:40:” What, could ye not watch with me one hour?” which confirms the importance of praying all the time and if you do not do that, then you will not be a witness for the Lord and the Holy Spirit will not use you for what you were used for in the past.

Colossians 2:6:”as ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him”. The same way you accepted Jesus as Lord and Master over your life when there were conflicting ideas inside of you about the ease of the process of salvation, but despite that you took the step and accepted Jesus. Walk in it with the same enthusiasm and fire. This means that the matter has nothing to do with feelings and emotions, but rather it is a choice. You are the one who chooses to walk in the same way.

Mark 5:6:” but when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him”. The bible says that the man with the unclean spirit from Gadarenes, despite the number of the unclean spirits in him, he ran to Jesus and worshipped Him and that is because Satan could not stand against the will of this man. Therefore, you are free and you can walk in your own will. Whenever you come to a meeting, do not say that you feel sleepy and justify this by having a sleepy spirit. Know that there is no spirit of sleep, but rather your belief in this makes these things happen to you allowing evil spirits to prevent you from attending meetings because you are receiving thoughts from Satan. The Church of Ephesus was a wonderful church, but they were very busy in service. Also today, there are many believers who are busy in service forsaking their first love.

The soul consists of thoughts, feelings, and will, and what guides the soul is the mind, which can be a prison for the human soul, and the evidence for this is in Romans 12:2:” And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God”. Also in Proverbs 23:7:”for as he thinketh in his heart, so is he”. It is a must to renew the mind and reprogramming its way of thinking.

Note that the soul is not crucified as some believe. Biblically, the word “crucified” is not mentioned with the word “soul”, but rather it is “programmed”. The word “crucified” is applied to the things that have power, and the soul has no power because it is like a computer that contains some information and you are the one who programs it. As for the word “crucified”, it is applied to the “flesh” and this is a process, that as believers, we are undertaking now.

The salvation of the body, i.e. changing it with a new body, will happen in the rapture, but the body here on earth has its desires. Jesus had a body and desires, and this does not mean that the body itself is sin, because the word “the body of sin” mentioned in Romans 6:6:” Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin” and in Romans 8:3:” For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh” does not mean that the body is sin, but it was used in sin because it has senses cooperating with sin. Sin is spiritual and does not exist in the body.

Romans 8:18-26:”18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered”.

“For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth” because it was subdued to sin. We also groan due to the limitation of our bodies (we want to serve for longer hours, but our body needs rest). Also, the Holy Spirit makes intercession for us with groaning.

  • The salvation of the soul and the body

1 Corinthians 9:24-27:”24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway”. Paul the Apostle talks here about the competitors in a certain sport adhering to a certain system in order to obtain a perishable crown, but as for us, we control our lives in order to obtain an imperishable crown. He also says that he does not fight as one beating the air without a goal, but rather he has a goal, which is to control his body and suppress it so that it does not become unfit after he had preached to many people. His preaching to others does not mean that he should differ. If he differs and leaves his body to do what it wants, then it will destroy him, making him lose the prize and making him unfit.

Galatians 5:16:”16 this I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh”. Essentially, you a spiritual being because God is a spirit (John 4:24). You were created in the image and likeness of God Genesis 1:27:” 27 so God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them”.

When you walk in the Spirit, you will surely not fulfill the lust of the flesh because the human spirit prevails over the soul and the flesh. Dealing with the flesh is very simple when you renew your mind and activate your spirit. If you are facing a problem regarding focus, then you must raise your voice in prayer and worship declaring the Word and praying in tongues so that you will be lifted above the things of the flesh which is trying to drag you down. Also, do not be moody. Galatians 5:19-21:”19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God”. There are manifestations of the works of the flesh if your mind is not renewed and therefore your human spirit will not be launched. There are also manifestations of the Holy Spirit through the human spirit if your mind is renewed and therefore your human spirit will be launched.

“Wrath” here means a moody person who gets sad and frustrated a lot and when something good happens to him, you find him getting afraid of some kind of a disaster because he does not realize who he is in Christ and forgets what the Bible says about a fearful person in Proverbs 29:25:” 25 The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe”. If you are afraid of falling into sin again, your life will be entangled in it. The Word of God is the one that provides the solution to all these matters and helps you place the correct value on things because not everything that makes people happy makes God happy.

James 1:14:” 14 but every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed”. The five senses have gravity, so do not wonder and marvel a lot about the thoughts that come into your mind. Learn the way to deal with these thoughts because it is very easy to control the flesh through activating your human spirit and in that way the flesh will no longer attract you. Just like an airplane, it can break the law of gravity by flying high though the law of gravity remains. You can also do the same and fly high above the thoughts of the flesh because now you discriminate these thoughts and do not consider it.

For example: if two people hear about a spreading virus, their reaction will depend on the value of the situation to each of them. If one of them has a renewed mind, then he will not be afraid because he believes in the Word of God that says in Psalm 91-5-6:” Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday”. This person knows that he is protected from any epidemic and he is aware that behind this matter is a satanic power but he is higher than it. As for the second person, who’s a mind is not renewed by the Word of God regarding the subject of protection, he will be terrified by the news, like Job, who had a lack of knowledge regarding protection and believed that it was the Lord who afflicted people with problems and this is why he said at the end in Job 42:5:” I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee” in the Hebrew language it comes as the following: “I used to think that you were behind everything that happened, whether negative or positive, but now I know that you were not”.

If your soul is unsaved, you may think certain thoughts and find yourself suddenly depressed, but when you program your mind according to the Word of God, you will know why you suddenly felt depressed and that is due of thinking certain thoughts and you will know how to quickly bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

Romans 8:5-6(King James Version):”for they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”.

Romans 8:5 (AMPC):”For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and [a]pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and [b]seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit ”.

They that are after the flesh are controlled by the five senses and those who set their minds according to the spirit, glorify the Spirit.

“For to be carnally minded is death” Here he means adjusting the mind according to the flesh, and this leads to death. You will see that death is apparent in the lives of many believers, and the evidence for that is what the Word says in Revelation 3:1-2:” And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God”. These churches are not symbols of the ages that the church is going through. The evidence for that is that the last church, which is the church of the Laodiceans, was not without blemish or wrinkle, while it is the image of the church before the rapture, as stated in Ephesians 5:27:” 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish”.

If you set your mind on the five senses, you will know that you are dead while you are alive. You find yourself dead at the time of prayer without interaction with the spiritual matters. The solution is to set your mind on the Word. For example, if Satan is putting thoughts inside your head telling you that you are bad person, you are not in the image that God wants you to be, you are negligent and not committed spiritually, and so in this case, you must declare that you are the righteousness of God because the Word says so and you do not follow what your feelings and your sensations tell you. Now, at this moment, you are directing your mind to the Word of God and for this to be done, you must have a sufficient asset of the Word within you to be able to summon the right thoughts and to think according to the Word and to rejoice deliberately. After doing so, your spirit will be launched. This explains your ignition in the time of praise and worship because you are directing your mind towards the Word of God, and when you find yourself down after the praise and worship finishes, know that you are connecting it to your voice only.

Yes, when you raise your voice, you pay attention, but you need to direct your thinking to the Word always, and this means that you need to allocate times in which you are silent closing your eyes, training yourself to think about the Word, remembering what the Word says about you, thinking about the verses, calling them to your mind, and speaking them. If you do that on a daily basis you will see that your spirit has become stronger.

Proverbs 18:1-2:”18 Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself”. The word “fool” means the person who steps away from any person who corrects him because he wants to do whatever he wants and does not want to be corrected nor stopped by anyone. So this person decides to stay at home and does not commit into going to a certain meeting justifying it by saying:” that God is present at home same as He is in meetings” and therefore, he starts following the meetings online and this is not correct.

The presence of the Holy Spirit in meetings differs from His presence at home as the Word says in Psalm 133:1:” Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” That is, how good and beautiful it is for brothers and sisters to unite and be together Psalm 133:3:” for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore”.

When you are present with your brothers and sisters, united in thought, you place yourself in the blessing position. Of course, the Lord is present in your personal privacy, but His presence in the midst of the body of church is different and so He says in Psalm 82:7:” The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob”.

  • The relationship between the salvation of the soul and the health of the flesh

If you do not take the responsibility to save your soul, it will cause you physical illnesses, problems in your relationships with others, and you will find yourself being an extrovert in prayer and feeling very discouraged because you have allowed humanity to rise above divinity.

Proverbs 14:30 (KJV):” 30 A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones”.

Proverbs 14:30 (AMPC):” 30 A calm and undisturbed mind and heart are the life and health of the body, but envy, jealousy, and wrath are like rottenness of the bones”.

There are other translations that say that your physical health is linked to the way of your thinking. Medicine began to discover this thirty years ago, and in some cases it is guessed that the cause of the disease is psychological and not physical, but this does not mean that the cause of all diseases is the way of your thinking, because there are some diseases caused by the direct intervention of evil spirits.

You must focus your emotions, mind, and thoughts on the Word and not be distracted by other things. Know that you will be presented sometimes with thoughts of depression and sometimes thoughts of joy, and in this case you must not link your life to certain situations.

1 Corinthians 7:29-31:”29 But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;30 And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;31 And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away”. Paul the Apostle means here not to be affected by what ordinary people are affected by. Do not to cry as they cry and do not rejoice as they rejoice, but to grieve and to rejoice the biblical grief and joy.

There are those who believe that his mission in life is to take care of his wife and raise and educate his children. In fact, this is not a message, but rather a responsibility, because the word message means that the Lord asked you to do a specific thing. It is natural for you to take care of your household and raise your children, but be careful not to let that being the goal of your life – to eat and drink, because tomorrow you will die, but rather you will live for the Lord, and at this moment you will find blessings following you.

2 Corinthians 7:7:”And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more” this is the joy of Paul the Apostle for certain things. Also, when the Lord Jesus was being crucified He said to those who mourned him:” 28 Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children” (Luke 23:28). He said that to them because their grief was not according to the will of God.

When you understand the thought of the Lord and know what will happen in the coming days in the world during the time of the great tribulation, you may not stop weeping for others. The Lord Jesus wept bitterly for those whose time of loss passed and they did not realize it. Therefore, if your mind is filled with the thought of God, you will grieve and rejoice according to His will.

Your feelings stabilize when you realize God’s heart for the world in this time and care about what He cares about (the salvation of those you encounter).

If you let the Word of God to correct your values, then you will not be afraid of those who have the authority to take decisions concerning you. Take a look at Esther’s situation when Mordecai told her the following in Esther 4:13-14:”13 Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews.14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Esther 4:15-17:” 15 Then Esther bade them return Mordecai this answer,16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.17 So Mordecai went his way, and did according to all that Esther had commanded him”.

The result of prayer is that Esther found favor in the sight of the king Esther 5:2:” 2 And it was so, when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, that she obtained favour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.

After the leaflets were distributed, the Jews survived and here you discover that even if a manager or someone in authority issues a judgment against you, do not think that it is the final word because your prayer has enough power to change the decision; Therefore, you do not give it value or fear that a decision will be issued against you, even if it is sealed and you must implement it. Rather, rejoice in trials James 1:2:” my brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.”

Why joy in the midst of trials? Because you look at the trial in a different perspective and it is not necessary for a certain thing to happen or to see a vision, for you to realize that the Holy Spirit is working with you during the trial. Remember when Elisha told the young boy in 2 Kings 6:16:” Fear not for they that be with us are more than they that be with them”. Elisha did not see it in his physical eyes but by faith through the Word of God and so he prayed for the young boy to see it in 2 Kings 6:17:” Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes that he may see” and indeed he saw many chariots 2 Kings 6:17:” And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha”. If you are open to the Holy Spirit, He will then give you information which will help you during the trial instead of being terrified when facing situations.

If a bossy person was hired at your workplace, do not be afraid knowing that either he will be submissive to you or he will be fired from work because you are aware that you are the source of God’s judgment here on earth. Starting this point, the Holy Spirit will work on your values and you will not be afraid from situations that people fear from.

·         The salvation of the soul and prosperity

Proverbs 17:16 (KJV):” 16 Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing he hath no heart to it?”

Proverbs 17:16 (AMPC):” Of what use is money in the hand of a (self-confident) fool to buy skillful and godly wisdom when he has no understanding or heart for it?”

If you advise the fool to buy the truth as the Word says in Proverbs 23:23:” Buy the truth, and sell it not” he will see that the bible is for free and there is no need to pay money for it as he sees that it is not worth it.

1 Chronicles 21:23:”23 And Ornan said unto David, take it to thee, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes: lo, I give thee the oxen also for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the meat offering; I give it all”. When Ornan offered David to take the land for free, he refused and insisted to pay for it in 1 Chronicles 21:24-26:”24 And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the Lord, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.25 So David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred shekels of gold by weight.26 And David built there an altar unto the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the Lord; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of burnt offering”. Saul used to do exactly the opposite, as we mentioned previously. He ordered the people to offer to the Lord while not paying anything of what was his.

If you want to evaluate the biblical truth and gain wisdom, get used to paying money in the truth. Do not wait for a spiritual book to be distributed for free in order to acquire it, but rather pay your own money to acquire it. The Gospel is free, but it will not come to you for free. Jesus had a service fund from which he paid for his and the disciples’ travels and accommodation.

When you pay in the biblical truth, you will be doing that for your benefit as Paul said in Philippians 4:17:” 17 not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account”. If you want the Lord to bless you financially, use what you have to purchase biblical truth first.

Proverbs 19:10:”10 Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes”. Here he says it is not appropriate for a fool to be rich. The Lord commanded blessings in the lives of the believers, but you are the one to put yourself in a position to make these blessings follow you, because what attracts the blessings to you is your giving. Like Solomon, he could have offered one sacrifice, as the law says, but he offered a thousand sacrifices 1 Kings 3:4:” and the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar”. On this same day, the Lord appeared to him due to his offering 1 Kings 3:5:” In Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, ask what I shall give thee”.

Solomon moved the heart of the Lord with his offerings. Therefore, the Word says that it is not appropriate for a fool (self-confident) to be rich. This fool may be a believer, but he relies on his personal knowledge, and therefore the blessings and the goodness will not follow him, even though this is his right in Christ.

Proverbs 23:4-5 (KJV):”Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven”. When you think about money, it will one day have wings and fly away from you, but when you think about the Word, money will then flow towards you. So stop depending on your own wisdom in order not to stop the work of the Holy Spirit in your life.

There are those who depend on their personal wisdom in managing their projects and insist on doing it in a specific way to win more. Doing so, they close the door on the Holy Spirit and they start to lose money.

Proverbs 26:1:” as snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honor is not seemly for a fool”. The person who is a fool depending on his personal thoughts and opinions by which he closes the door on the Holy Spirit, so honor is not fitting for him.

Deuteronomy 28:1-2:”28 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God”.

“Overtake” That is, it will run after you and pursue you. There are those from whom blessings run away from them and do not reach them, as the bible said, because the Lord does not trust them with money, as they are ignorant, relying on their personal opinions, and therefore honor does not fit them. Ignorance (reliance on personal knowledge) is the opposite of renewing the mind.

Do not think that God will bless you while you do not do anything. The Holy Spirit works in your life, but you must put yourself in the position of the blessing so that the blessings will follow you and catch up with you and then your life will be filled with blessings in every aspect because you listen to the voice of the Lord and you are not being arrogant. Pride is not limited to dealing arrogantly with others, but rather it includes a person relying on his personal opinions, not allowing anyone to interfere in his way of thinking.

Humble yourself and always rely on the Holy Spirit because He will tell you things before they happen as the Word says in John 16:13:” 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come”. Therefore, open the door to the Holy Spirit to enter your life. He will protect you from problems instead of having any and not knowing how to deal with them. The salvation of the soul helps you to be led easily by the Holy Spirit. Being led by the Holy Spirit is not something hard, but it is the non-renewable mind that makes it hard.

The problem is not in the system of the country you live in because your prosperity is related to your offering and walking in the Word of God. Therefore, do not think that the solution is in changing the system of the government.

Proverbs 21:20 (KJV):”20 there is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up”.

Proverbs 21:20 (AMPC):” 20 There are precious treasures and oil in the dwelling of the wise, but a self-confident and foolish man swallows it up and wastes it”.

Proverbs 29:11:” A [self-confident] fool utters all his anger, but a wise man holds it back and stills it”. The foolish is the one who always loses his temper and shows his anger without self-control, while the wise is the one who controls himself when he is angry and you find him a professional in dealing with all ages and different personalities without a problem, just as the Lord Jesus dealt with different personalities (the malicious – the poor – the sarcastic).

The reaction of Jesus Christ was different in every situation because He moved with the Holy Spirit. He made a whip and casted out all the wandering vendors from the temple Matthew 21:12:” And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves”. This does not mean that He was unloving at that moment. He sometimes did not answer people and this is definitely not a proof of disrespect, but He knew exactly what to answer others depending on the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is so good; He does not judge you but directs you and advise you. Judgment means to judge without giving the solution. Revelation 2:13:” 13 I know where you live—a place where Satan sits enthroned. [Yet] you are clinging to and holding fast My name, and you did not deny My faith, even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed (martyred) in your midst—where Satan dwells”. God praised the right things but pointed out the problem in Revelation 2:14:” Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: you have some people there who are clinging to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to set a trap and a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, [to entice them] to eat food that had been sacrificed to idols and to practice lewdness [giving themselves up to sexual vice]”.

  • The benefits of the salvation of the soul

It makes you more effective when preaching to others or teaching them the Word. Do not wait for a certain hymn to ignite you and then get bored of it and then get ignited by another hymn. The reason a person is ignited with a certain hymn is to feed himself instead of having his human spirit guiding his soul. It is the Word that should influence you, not the music, and you must be creative in creating a song yourself, that is, to express your love to God yourself, as David said to the people in Psalm 96:1:” O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth”. Here he does not mean a new hymn, but rather a hymn of your own creativity. Notice this, are you relying on a worship song or something else to ignite and set you on fire or are you relying on the knowledge and the love of God?

You become aware of your relationship with the Holy Spirit. You become aware of your relationship with yourself for example: if you suddenly become upset, you will know why it happened because you thought wrongly about a certain matter. You will not be distracted, not knowing what to do. Rather, you will know how to control things. You will know when the cause of sadness is your thinking about wrong things, and when your sadness is the result of an attack by evil spirits.

You will understand more your relationship with others: You will become a professional in dealing with different personalities, and this will help you in service. You will know how to use your spirit in dealing with every situation. But if you do not like dealing with certain people or you oppose them, this means that your mind is not renewed and you are unable to communicate with everyone and therefore you will not be able to preach to them the Gospel.

Psalm 119:130:”130 the entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple”. The explanation your Word and understanding its meaning gives light to the simple and to the naïve person who believes every word said to him, is easily deceived, and does not have an inner discernment. If someone tells him something, he shows that he does not know anything or tries to show that he knows everything while he does not.

The gift of discerning spirits is limited to discovering evil spirits, not discovering the human spirit. Therefore, do not seek the gift of discerning spirits to know how your life is going. Rather, seek to know the Word in order to live a successful life, and the Holy Spirit is the one who gives you the ability to distinguish between right and wrong.

  • The meaning of simplicity in the New Testament

Matthew 6:22:”22 the light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light”. When Jesus talked about simplicity in this verse, he meant the unity of thinking. 2 Corinthians 11:3:” But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ”.

Pau the Apostle also talked simplicity. He was afraid that the serpent had deceived their minds as it had deceived Eve, and this explains that the serpent did not speak out loud to Eve, but rather spoke through intellectual communication.

  • The meaning of simplicity in the Old Testament

Proverbs 1:32:”for the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them”. The simple, the fool and the naive are those who are easily deceived. When he walks away from God, he kills himself without knowing it, and the fool is the person who trusts in his opinion and relies on it.

Psalm 91:3:”surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence”. The Holy Spirit is responsible for revealing to you any trick and saving you from any trap set for you.

Proverbs 7:1-7:”7 My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words. For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding”.

“And beheld among the simple ones” the simple one is the naïve person who is deceived easily. He is a person with an empty mind and does not think about the Word of God nor makes it his way of thinking. This is the why; the woman was able to deceive him through a spiritual entrance. Proverbs 7:14:” 14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I paid my vows”.

Proverbs 9:1-6:”9 Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table. She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled.Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding”. Wisdom calls on those who are easily deceived, diverted, wavering, and unstable to understand the Word. You need to understand the Word correctly through the Holy Spirit. Do not think that Satan cannot speak to you at the time of prayer because the Lord Jesus personally was spoken to Him by to Satan while he was in the temptation in the wilderness; Therefore, it is possible to hear a voice similar to the voice of the Holy Spirit at the time of prayer and find him using the Word because Satan spoke to the Lord Jesus from the Word.

Matthew 4:6:”And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone”. You can distinguish between the voice of Satan and the voice of the Holy Spirit by the ideas that are being presented to you; therefore, you must understand the Word because your understanding of it presents terror to Satan.

Proverbs 14:15:”15 the simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going”. The simple person is easily deceived and mislead, but the prudent person is the one who knows the Word of God very well and pays attention to everything he does.

Proverbs 14:18:”18 the simple inherit folly: but the prudent are crowned with knowledge”. Fools are the ones who attract and draw foolishness towards them. They only befriend fools like themselves. They are superficial people and pass from foolishness to foolishness because of their lack of salvation, even though the inheritance of believers is to walk from glory to glory.

Proverbs 22:3:”A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished’. A fool is a simple person who acts foolishly and does not know the truth of things and does not care about anything. Like a driver who drives his car at full speed, not caring about anything, and when someone advises him, he responds by saying” “Life is in the hands of God”.

Proverbs 9:13:”13 A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing”. A simple person is someone who is always talkative and someone who tries to talk useless words and finds it shameful to remain silent for some time. If you are ministering to someone who does not talkative, rely on the Holy Spirit to give you words to speak and do not fill your time with useless talk because when you do that, you become a fool.

There are those who say, “I am ashamed for so-and-so.” You are not required to import other people’s problems, feel their feelings, or bear their burdens, because each person is responsible for himself. Become spiritually mature first and then help others, but when you sit with someone, do not grieve his grief. If one of your relatives died and you did not know him well, do not try to remember his good deeds in order to cry for his death.

Proverbs 10:17 (KJV):”17 He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth”.

Proverbs 10:17 (AMPC):” 17 He who heeds instruction and correction is [not only himself] in the way of life [but also] is a way of life for others. And he who neglects or refuses reproof [not only himself] goes astray [but also] causes to err and is a path toward ruin for others”.

You are a leader without knowing it; in your home, at work, and everywhere you go, someone is watching you and trying to learn from you even if some of them make fun of you.

  • The principles of renewing the mind

John 6:63:”63 it is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life”. The Word is a spirit as the Lord Jesus said. Therefore, you must receive and respond to it in your spirit and to direct your heart and focus to it.

Renewing the mind is a daily process so it is not done for one time only. Do not assume that you matured spiritually and so you are not in need to renew your mind again. The answer to that is in the Word in Revelation 2:5:” do the first works”. Do it in the same way with the same enthusiasm.

  • Renewing the mind is a method that consists of several steps

Activate your spirit by studying the Word and praying in the Spirit. You may begin by praying and then studying the Word or vice versa. Acts 4:24:”24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is”. You activate your spirit by praying out loud as the disciples did when they told them not to preach in the name of Jesus again.

Revelation 3:14-19:”14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent”. Indeed, there are some people whom God spew due to being lukewarm. Some believers think that they are spiritually committed because they do not commit sins such as theft or murder, but you find them closed in on themselves and lukewarm, and in this case they create immunity against the Holy Spirit.

Also, when a leader advises this type of a believer, he is not convinced and believes that his opinion is the correct one, and this is a disaster. The solution for this person is to activate his human spirit by discovering his problem, and here he needs to accept correction and rebuke from the leaders whom the Holy Spirit uses for his own good.

“I would thou wert cold or hot” this means that I wish you were a clear person, but you are not and you are deceived by yourself. He is a spiritually naked person, and this is the person whom Satan attacks. So be zealous, enthusiastic, repent, and correct your course.

Revelation 3:20-21:”20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne”. This person (spiritually lukewarm) expelled the status of Jesus from his heart. The Lord says to him, “Give me back my status in your heart.” Every time you feel confused and perplexed, run to the Word and pray enthusiastically in a loud voice, trusting that the Holy Spirit is working in you until you release your focus and come out of the lukewarm into ignition and seriousness and thus launch your spirit.

  • Studying the Word of God

2 Timothy 3:15-17:”15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works”. The Word of God makes you wise, leads you to righteousness, and works on renewing your mind. When you study the Word, you will not be a person who runs away from situations secluding yourself in a place fasting and praying. The life of a believer is not linked to being secluded in a far place away from home justifying this by saying that the circumstances of the house do not allow you to do so.

The truth is that the person sometimes fears that he will be ashamed in front of his family after studying the Word and praying that he might fall again into sin or because he does not have faith in himself that he will complete his spiritual life, or perhaps the house is already crowded, but train yourself to adapt to the circumstances of the house and choose the appropriate times to sit with the Lord.

Do not just study the Word on your own, but listen to sermons and read articles that will help you in doing so; enter into the labor of others, as the Lord said. I encourage you to study the bible as topics in the early stages of your life with the Lord and not as chapters.

  • Follow up spiritually with a leader

You need to know where you are on the spiritual map through a leader and do not insist on your opinion, saying:” I want to study this topic” and not what your leader advises you to do, because you do not know that what the leader is advising you about is the key to solving your problem.

It is very important to have a pastor leading you…it is for your own good. Sometimes he asks you to study some sermons more than once and discusses with you what you have studied. Perhaps you think you have understood everything, but in reality you did not understand what he wanted you to.

Refrain from acting in the flesh (your humanity) James 1:19-21:”19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls”. You must be swift to hear those who follow up with you spiritually, and do not talk too much because they may understand the problem without you talking a lot about it. At this moment, listen to receive the help of the Holy Spirit.

The Word is able to save your soul; if you rely too much on your own understanding, you are doing something wicked, and it does not have to be murder or theft, but rather it is a behavior that is opposite to the Word. Sometimes you find the Spirit saying to you: “You eat too much, you must fast”, and of course this is not seen by others as evil or wrong; so you justify it to yourself not knowing that it is evil.

Psalm 73:2-3:”But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.for I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked”.

Psalm 73:22:”22 so foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee”. Asaph says that because he knew nothing and was determined to go in his own ways like a beast that needs to be dragged from one place to another, therefore, God couldn’t communicate with him because he had closed the door on him.

Here, Asaph admits his ignorance and lack of understanding of the matter; Therefore, he was jealous of the wicked and because of his ignorance, God was not able to reach him; therefore, he became rebellious, angry at others because he feared for himself. He saw that the entitled person did not take his right and the person who is not entitled took the right of others. But when he calmed down and prayed, the Holy Spirit began to reveal to him the truth of the matter.

Perhaps you are wonderful in faith but do not know how to love; Man is not a single alloy. It is possible for him to be enlightened in one matter, but not in the other. You may have thoughts from the world regarding certain matters. Therefore, you must work on saving your soul by getting rid of the thoughts of the world and replacing them with the thoughts of God. At this moment, the Holy Spirit will take its course in your life.

James 1:22-25:”22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed”. Walk in the Word and put it into practice, because if you don’t, then you will forget who you are in Christ. But whoever abides in the Word will be blessed in his life. You do not ask for the blessings. There is a way in which you walk and the blessings will follow you because you are already blessed.

Philippians 3:1-3:”3 finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh”. The Apostle Paul says that the repetition of writing these things (there is no circumcision of the body in the New Testament, but circumcision of the heart) is not burdensome for him so that they will be safe. He also warns them of the dogs (a permissible or sinful person) in their midst and the concision (those who are specialized in walking in the flesh).

John 7:37-39:”37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”

“Cried” means He screamed.

“As the scripture hath said” This does not mean that the text mentioned after it is quoted from the Old Testament, but rather that the Lord was speaking in a biblical image because “out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” was used in a revelation in general. There is no such verse in the Old Testament that the Lord Jesus quoted.

“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” means that whoever believes in me as the bible says about me, that is, in the biblical way, from within him will flow rivers of living water.

There are people who believed in the Lord Jesus, but according to what the bible says about him, as it is said in Galatians 1:6:”I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel” and in 2 Corinthians 11:4:” For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him”. There are those who believe in an unbiblical gospel and images of Jesus. The accuracy of the biblical information leads to the release of the anointing in your life. The salvation of your soul will result to a mind filled with sound, biblical thoughts about life, circumstances, and yourself.

A lot of mentally sick people are healed because of knowing the Word and knowing who they are in Christ. Many of those who met the Lord Jesus had mental illnesses, but when they realized the character of Christ and the love of God through Jesus, they were healed.

Do not be a fool person who willfully ignores the Word and follows the principles of the world. If you go through difficult circumstances, your enemy is not the circumstances, or Satan, or whoever hurts you, but your enemy is your non-renewed mind. The renewal of the mind is to fill it with the thoughts of the Word; therefore, it is your responsibility to renew yourself with God’s thoughts about you.

Proverbs 8:21:”21 that I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures”. What you love is what you drink, live, and give your greatest attention to; therefore, do not be distracted by studying and reading a lot of useless books, and do not be voracious in watching movies and series or going out with your friends, because these things do not build you up and are only profitable for a little.

Invest your time in studying the Word because it is profitable for everything. It builds your life and saves your soul, so that when the evil day comes, when Satan launches his attack on you, you can resist it and be prepared for it Ephesians 6:13:” 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand”.

Satan tries really hard to make schemes making you think that you are stable and safe. Like the rich man that the Lord Jesus meant to talk about because God’s people have been always pride of themselves that they are the descendants of Abraham and are blessed. This is indeed true and we have inherited these blessings in Galatians 3:8-9:” And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham”. The Lord Jesus spoke about the rich man because he wanted to draw their attention to the fact that it is possible for a person to be rich and still go to hell because they believed that as long as they see results in their lives, it means that they are good and the Lord is pleased with them, and this is what some of the believers also believe in.

Certainly, seeing results in your life is very important, but they are not the measurement. The measurement is the Word of God and that is why the Lord Jesus said the following to the rich man in Luke 12:20:” 20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?”

There are those who call for positive thinking, but far from the Word of God. Just like there were those who faked miracles at the time of Moses when the magicians performed the same miracles, such as turning a staff into a snake in Exodus 7:11-12:” 11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents” but at the end Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods” (Exodus 7:12). Satan fakes everything that is true, but glory be to God, the Word always rises above all scientific development because every person who thinks in a positive way has limits and will fail at a certain level. Let’s give an example to clarify it: there was a person sick with and cancer and the doctors asked him to imagine the death of the cancer cells. Indeed, this led his life to be extended by four months, but at the end he died. Wherefore, Jesus heals completely.

Philippians 1:27 (KJV):”27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel’.

Philippians 1:27 (GNT):”27 Now, the important thing is that your way of life should be as the gospel of Christ requires, so that, whether or not I am able to go and see you, I will hear that you are standing firm with one common purpose and that with only one desire you are fighting together for the faith of the gospel. ”.

Philippians 1:27-30 (AMPC):”27 Only be sure as citizens so to conduct yourselves [that] your manner of life [will be] worthy of the good news (the Gospel) of Christ, so that whether I [do] come and see you or am absent, I may hear this of you: that you are standing firm in united spirit and purpose, striving side by side and contending with a single mind for the faith of the glad tidings (the Gospel)”. Live according to your citizenship which is talked about in the Gospel of Christ. The word “citizenship” that was mentioned in the Greek language is the same word that was used in Philippians 3:20 (GNT):” We, however, are citizens of heaven”.

Some references say: “Live properly according to the citizenship you have acquired.” You have become heavenly, you are no longer earthy. Your life is linked to the divine thought.

It is not the communion of the body of Christ and his blood that unites the believers, but the unity of the thought. The difference in thought in the church leads to the dispersion of the believers. Believers can be united in thought whether in the presence or the absence of the pastor because their lives and progress is not linked to his physical presence, as he is with them in spirit. There is a difference between submitting and loving your pastor and being attached to him and unstable if he is not present.

When believers unite in thought is the good news because then they can fight together for preaching the Gospel.

The church is not a social place that produces social relationships; therefore, whoever moves from one church to another for unbiblical reasons destroys his life, like Lot, who walked in his five senses. Yes, he continued to prosper for a while, but he ended up living in a cave in Genesis 19:30:” 30 And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountains and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters”.

The church is it is a spiritual union, as the Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 5:3:” For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed”. You are not designed to live alone without a body; therefore, realize that your presence among your fellow believers makes you spiritually stable, as there is a special anointing in the body, and by the body I mean the Church of God.

A body that is not united in thought cannot fight for the Gospel for there will be divisions and factions among it. The unity of thought is not done by the pastor through forcing his people to have one thought, or through prayer, or through the breaking of bread, but rather through explaining the Word in detail, and thus the church will realize the biblical truth, and this will lead to a body that prays in one spirit.

Philippians 1:28-30:”28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake; 30 Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me”.

When the body of Christ has one mind, it can fight for the Gospel and for the kind of pain that the body suffers. This kind of pain is what The Apostle Paul mentioned in verse 13 so that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places” which is persecution for the sake of the Gospel. The body of Christ (the rest of the believers) has the same kind of persecution that the Apostle Paul went through.

Philippians 2:12:”12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling”. The Apostle Paul says here the same thing which he has said in (Philippians 1:27) that they should be united in thought, whether in his presence or absence.

“Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” it means to work on your salvation to the end (the salvation of your souls) with enthusiasm.
