For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Romans 8:3-4).
When you study the Bible, especially the Old Testament, you’ll discover that often times, God spoke to the prophets who took the words to the king. At other times, He gave the king a dream and then sent a prophet to interpret it (Genesis 41:1-15). But there were times some didn’t respond to His Word. Some even invited and served foreign gods.
Many years later, God sent His Son because He wanted to relate with a new set of kings and priests. He wanted the kings to hear from Him fresh and direct; He wanted to communicate with them through their spirits. That dream has been fulfilled in us—the new creation; that’s why I said we’re the fulfilment of God’s dream, for Jesus has made us kings and priests unto God.
We’re living in the days of God’s fulfilment of His dream of purchasing unto Himself a kingdom of priests; we’re His peculiar people, His highly prized possession, separated from sin, sickness, and poverty unto the good life. Today, the Master is sitting at rest in heaven, having delegated His authority to us—His children. No wonder the Prophet Isaiah said “…he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand (Isaiah 53:10). We are His seed; we are the ones prolonging His days; the good pleasure of the Lord is prospering in our hands.
Always remember that you’re God’s representative! Therefore establish your throne by declaring His Word over your life always. Prophesy to yourself and command those “dry bones” in your life to come alive again. Prophesy to that “Red Sea” and it’ll part in two for you to go through. You’re the one reigning; you’re God’s dream fulfilled today. Hallelujah!
Dear Lord, I’m delighted to serve you and do your will, knowing that you’ve crowned me with so much glory and have beautified my life with your holy presence. I thank you for the realization your Word has brought to me today, that I’m the fulfillment of your dream; I declare that your good pleasure will forever prosper in my hands, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
