Sow The Word in Your Heart

The King James Version (KJV).

Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth. The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth (Proverbs 19:2-3)

The Amplified Bible (AMP).

Also, it is not good for a person to be without knowledge, and he who hurries with his feet [acting impulsively and proceeding without caution or analyzing the consequences] sins (misses the mark). The foolishness of man undermines his way [ruining whatever he undertakes]; Then his heart is resentful and rages against the Lord [for, being a fool, he blames the Lord instead of himself]. (Proverbs 19:2-3)

Being passionate without knowledge is not good and it does not benefit you because you will try and fail and you will not see results at the end, and this is not the result that  “the Lord was angry with you”, but because of “your ignorance of the Word”, because the lived knowledge is the force that changes the circumstances of your life because if you do not know how to operate a device you will not know to use it thus, you will not take advantage of its features; So desire and passion are not enough.

The Lord Jesus said, “Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.” (John 6:53) This means that you eat all the contents of Jesus, that is, all the topics of the Word, even if you do not need it.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” (John 1:1-5)

What you hear from the Word is a light that renews your mind, but it will not turn into life if you do not plant it and instill it in your soul, because if you are in a dark room and you see a light from afar, this light will not turn into life if you do not go to it, and this is the case for everyone who sees the beauty and the light of the Word from afar  and does not  study it and does not  meditate and recite  it until it becomes his life.

How do you plant the Word of God within you?!

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.” (Mathew 13:31-32)

There is a difference between your receiving biblical teaching and not rejecting it (to throw a seed inside you) and between sowing it inside you meditating and reciting it, because when you sow the Word inside you it grows and bears fruit and thus you see results in your life and achieve what it says about you and you can help others to see results in their life because it is easier to have fruit when the Word of God is sown.

“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.” (1Thessalonians 2:13)

Here the Apostle Paul thanks the Lord for the sake of Thessalonians that they accepted that is, they received the Word not as a human word although he who spoke it was a human being, but as the Word of God as if God was the one who was speaking to them and it is indeed the Word of God and they began to recite  it, meditate and think about it until it became working in them and they began to believe in it. So it is imperative that you take the Word and implant it within you and let it work in you first.

“And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind (vitality), and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” (Acts 17:10-11)

Bereans accepted the Word with readiness and passion, like someone writing a sermon, caring for it and meditating on the Word; Therefore, it is imperative that you take the Word in your spirit in order to see what the Word says in your life, because the nature of the Word is to bear fruit. So the Lord Jesus said “And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.” (Mark 4:26-29) He sowed, then fell asleep and rested, because he is certain that the seed will grow (he will see results) because he sows the Word and is confident that the Word will bear fruit.

The Word of Christ must dwell richly in you; for that reason increase your  knowledge, mediation and reciting of the Word, and if you are a spiritual child “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:” (1Peter 2:2) It is a great level but there is a higher level in which you eat strong food “But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” (Hebrews 5:14) That is why the Apostle Paul says to Timothy, throw yourself on the Word, until you see, and others see the results of the Word in your life. “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.” (2 Timothy 4:2)

There are people who are stupid and know the basic principles but ignore them and does not study the Word waiting for the Lord to appear to them, but the Lord appears in difficult cases as one who is difficult to preach to him because in the New Testament He does not touch but rather speaks to you with Words
